Design & Testing
Houston Foam Plastics has the technical resources you need. Our packaging engineers and designers provide professional on-site consultations and evaluations.
Our design department uses the latest software available for Autocad, Score, Illustration, Opticalc, Corel, Adobe, and Solid Works.
For package prototyping, we have a Datatech CAD-CAM sample cutting table that gives us a fully computerized design, allowing us a timely development cycle and astonishingly accurate prototypes.
Once your product has been designed and prototyped, we can test if for you. Our full service testing and evaluation lab will simulate the harsh environment that your package will more than likely be put through. Our precision monitoring test equipment includes:
- Lansmont Shock Tester
- Urholtz Dickey Vibration Table
- Lansmont Drop Tester
All design & testing is performed to ISTA standards or to customer specifications. All testing is included as a part of our design services.
